These strange boxes are literally everywhere, so that it's impossible to walk around the city without coming across at least one of them. They're called SAI a.k.a. Service Area Interface, they're outdoor metal boxes that allow access to telecommunications wiring. Each SAI can be connected to each other or directly to buildings, providing homes with internet connection.
